Good, but not as good as expected for such price
I am a big Oakland Ballet fan, and I am especially a big MMA fan. That being said, I also think a good show is worth paying for. However, I still think the show I went to see was not worth the price I paid for.
Every time I go watch Oakland Ballet events online on my own computer, I am happy to pay the fee they demand. What I paid online was a little bit more, but I don't remember how much it was, which I consider a good sign. That means I enjoy the sport to the point that I don't care to pay money to watch it, or simply don't remember how much I paid because it's fun.
My girlfriend and I paid $200+ each to watch UFC events at a bar. Once I paid to see an awesome card online on my own computer. I knew beforehand where my seat was. I was even surprised to see that the stage looked a little bit closer than expected. However, that changed when I saw the first performance.
No doubt that the closer your seat is, the better it gets. If I had a lot of money, I would definitely try the closest seat possible, but that's not the case. So, I will continue enjoying the performances on a TV.
GOOD THINGS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE: The performances were very exciting, especially the main card where none of the dances went to intermission. The crowd consisted of ballet enthusiasts going crazy during the performances. The dress rehearsals (the day before) were kinda fun.
BAD THINGS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE: I found myself watching the big screen the entire time. The dancers looked tiny from my seat. Long time in between the performances with nothing to do. Pretty expensive seat. I don't care if there are other arts events that are even more expensive (Broadway, Opera), what I know is there are many shows in Las Vegas in which.
